CHICAGO - October 1, 2001 - Curious Networks, provider of Continuum™ mobile-enablement software, today announces the appointment of Ahmed Hedayat, 39, as chief operating officer. Hedayat will be responsible for overseeing sales, business development, and operational activities for Curious Networks. |
|
|
|
|
|
Key among Hedayat's responsibilities will be expanding the company's reach as a provider of Web-enablement solutions to enterprise applications, particularly customer relationship management. He reports to David Cutler, president and CEO of Curious Networks. |
|
|
|
|
|
Prior to joining Curious Networks, Hedayat served as vice president for eBusiness at Spherion Technology Group, a global IT services firm, where he was responsible for the development and deployment of the organization's eBusiness strategy and business development. He also served as vice president for Netscape Professional Services, with responsibility for all sales and delivery of consulting services for the Western and Central United States. |

Before Netscape, Hedayat worked at Oracle Corporation, where he held several management positions in its Consulting Services organization, including the creation and development of its Global Practices for Human Resources Management Solutions. Hedayat holds degrees in finance and economics from Miami University in Ohio. |
