ABN AMRO Selects Curious Networks To Mobilize Financial Applications
CHICAGO—May 7, 2001 — Curious Networks, a leading provider of mobile-enablement software,
today announces that ABN AMRO Information Technology Services Company Inc. (AAITSC) has
selected Continuum to provide its U.S. customers mobile access to a select set of financial
services applications. Through Curious Networks’ Continuum presentation server, ABN AMRO can
now offer real-time access to personal financial information through the user’s choice of
Internet-enabled devices.
Starting later this month, a pilot group of ABN AMRO mortgage customers will have access
to the first in a series of mobile financial applications allowing them to interact with
mortgage account information, including payment history, due dates, escrow and tax disbursements. ABN AMRO plans to expand this service to its more than 1 million mortgage account holders.
