Curious Networks Announces First
Embedded Mobile Solution for Software Manufacturers
Tuesday, July 17, 2001
Curious Networks today introduces Continuum Embedded Edition, the first
mobile-enablement solution designed to help software manufacturers quickly
and easily make the leap to wireless. With its open architecture and seamless
integration, Continuum Embedded Edition enables software manufacturers to provide
mobile access to their products without the costly and time-consuming task of custom
development. Already, software providers eGain Communications and Interface Software
have collaborated with Curious Networks to experience how to expand their existing
solutions to include all variations of Internet-enabled mobile
phones, Palm, RIM, and Windows CE devices, and voice recognition capabilities.
Burdened with the time and cost of mobile-enabling their current solutions,
software manufacturers have been unable to meet their customers' new
requirements. Recognizing this challenge, Curious Networks expanded
its Continuum product line by creating the Embedded Edition to help
vendors make a smooth transition into the mobile market.
