People
RICHARD RUSSERT has been named vice president of sales at
Curious Networks, a Chicago-based developer of software tools for
Web developers. Russert is responsible for overseeing the company's
sales initiatives and further expanding its customer base in such
markets as finance, travel and telecommunications. Most recently,
he served as the director of alliances at Roswell, Ga.-based Abaco PR.
Russert also served as global selling director and regional general
manager at Everett, Wash.-based Intermec Technologies Corp.

Tribune Co., a global media conglomerate, has made four executive
appointments within its broadcasting group:
PATRICK J. MULLEN has been named president of Tribune Television. Formerly,
Mullen was regional vice president of Tribune Television.
MICHAEL EIGNER has been named president of Tribune Cable. Formerly, Eigner
was president of Tribune Television.
PETER S. WALKER has been named senior vice president of Tribune Television.
Formerly, Walker was regional vice president of Tribune Television.
JOHN E. REARDON has been named West Coast regional vice president of the
Tribune Company. Formerly, Reardon, a Chicago native, was vice
president/general manager of KTLA-TV in Los Angeles.
